To: Governor Romer From: Steve Douglas, Gartin 31 January 1997

Good Day Mr. Romer,
I come to you after pursuing all the proper procedures to redress grievances. I am a political prisoner suffering persecution, and deprivation of Civil Liberties and Human Rights at the hands of out-of-control local "government" agencies. I am being "hunted" for committing no crime.
It has become startlingly obvious that the "law" is out-of-order and many Citizens are being damaged, homes and families destroyed, careers wrecked, and unlawfully incarcerated. I am only one such Father who is PREVENTED by the "law" to be with his children, without cause.
Governor Roy Romer on Fatherhood: "I have grown increasingly troubled at the number of children who grow up without active fathers involved in their lives. Evidence clearly indicates that children whose fathers do not take responsibility for them are more likely to encounter personal, social and emotional problems throughout life. We should be clear that we value responsible parenting by both fathers and mothers and ensure that we are not standing unnecessarily in the way of a responsible relationship between a father and his child."
My situation is aggravated by Lying Attorneys, Rogue Judges, and out-of-control cops. The attorneys have conspired with the judges to issue fraudulent warrants for non-crimes. These over-zealous cops are now trying to arrest me across four county lines, at my work, home, even innocent bystanders homes.
Contrary to all law, these "public officials" cannot produce a valid warrant, yet they have even placed erroneous arrest information on the NCIC. My life is in danger any where I go. Cops are stalking me constantly, harassing, menacing, threatening and trying to intimidate me. I need your assistance.
I cannot seem to find a judge or court that adheres to the Constitution of Colorado or the united States of America. I am hoping you can help me to find a court of competent jurisdiction in which to hear my case. Are there any courts in Colorado where the law of "due process" and Constitutions are respected?
Each day that I am kept from my Children is torture, both for me and them. I pray that you will assist me to find justice and due process.
For your convenience, I have included some cites that leads me to believe that numerous public officials are breaking the law. I understand that the Citizen has the responsibility of protecting his own freedom, and I want to conform to all proper law. When a crime is committed in my presence, it is my understanding that I am to arrest the perpetrator and immediately take the offender before a judge or magistrate of competent jurisdiction. Where would a Citizen find such a person?
I realize that you are busy and I am just one man, but my problems are indicative of similar actions by public officials in positions of power and trust who misuse and abuse that power. I want my children to grow up believing in the positive role of government in our lives. The flagrant disregard for law and order of these many officials makes it difficult to explain to my children that they should respect those in official capacity.
Please contact me by FAX @ 739-9824 with the proper venue and jurisdiction to solve these legal questions. I anticipate your swift reply since my life is in danger every minute of the day. You may also contact me by phone @ 364-0403 to leave a message.

Please help me.
